Wound Care Center Position Summary
Summary:
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is a specially trained member of the Wound Care Center Team who aids the RN, MD, or PA in delivery of selected aspects of patient care.
The individual is a member of the Wound Care Center team functioning under the direction and supervision of a Registered nurse.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program High School Diploma or equivalent Completion of Nursing Assistant or medical assistant preferred Experience And Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Speaks, reads and writes English Minimum one year experience in nursing/medical office setting Able to perform blood pressures Basic computer skills Good verbal and written communication skills License/Certifications Certified Nursing Assistant preferred Working Conditions Other information:
Working Conditions Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn Able to complete a two person lift from wheelchair to exam table Frequent, prolonged standing/walking, lifts, positions and/or transfer of patients Bending and stretching to lift boxes and put inventory on shelf.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
